“Free National Gallery” Exhibition
We curated and produced an exhibition that served as a reflection on non-professional political interference in Slovak cultural institutions. The main idea was to document and present to an international audience the period following the dismissal of the then-director general and the subsequent chaotic turnover in management. The exhibition documented the gallery staff’s encounter with amateurism and highlighted their creativity, solidarity, and various forms of artistic resistance.
- We oversaw the entire preparation of the exhibition for our international partner—GHMP
- We designed a strong visual concept for the project
- We created a comprehensive, immersive exhibition environment
- We organized an accompanying program in the form of guided tours for the public
